Aiya Diner: Details

The Aiya Diner is a restaurant from Kanji's hometown that served as his group's 'headquarters' during their adventures. The doors are always open to anyone who wants a break from Liminal, a change of scenery, or just plain something to eat.

The doors to Aiya appear as a wide pair of modern-day sliding doors with a red canopy over the top.

The main section of the diner is unsophisticated but homely, a little family run restaurant. There's about 25 seats available, along the counter or at tables. While without Kanji to maintain it the food doesn't prepare and serve itself, the fridges and cupboards are naturally full of supplies for the taking or cooking and the kitchen area is fully functional.

The diner has expanded from its original size; another set of sliding doors lead to a lounge area. This one's overall quite traditionally Japanese in style, with low couches and tables, sitting cushions, and a window with a garden view. A closet off from the lounge space is filled with blankets, cushions and futons, just in case anyone needs to crash in an emergency.

A small garden is accessible through the lounge, though any attempt to break through the hedges or fly up into the sky will be met with invisible walls due to the limits of room creation ability. There's a seating area, a couple of trees, and a fountain. Other garden areas that lead off from this contain a courtyard with a perpetual night sky and a small Shinto style shrine.

When Naoki's bar is open a door can be found to it from the restaurant. Another door, left locked by a mundane key setup, links to more private space. Chariot's robot proxy has a closet off the main area to store it in when not needed.
